We’ll be publishing our June workshop calendar for Beijing workshops shortly. Here’s a quick preview of what’s coming up…

Espadrille Slides

Espadrilles are a casual, rope-soled shoe that originated in France and Spain. They’ve been around for hundreds of years – probably because they’re comfortable and look great too.

Espadrille slides are a great shoe to make by hand because there is less work involved than making a fully-covered shoe, meaning they’re faster and easier.

We’ll likely offer this workshop with two different materials – leather espadrille slides and fabric espadrille slides. Let us know which are your favourites!

I’ve had this one in my mind for quite some time – a nice weekend afternoon spent chatting and creating, trying something new before going off to dinner or drinks or whatever you like to do on a Saturday night. Enter “Crafternoons”…

The first Crafternoon session will feature a printing craft – most likely on fabrics for placemats or kitchen/tea towels. No art skills required – just a willingness to play around and enjoy some hands-on fun. You’ll take home your creation at the end of the session.

Let me know what you think!
